Anonymous asked: I'm a real bad emotional/compulsive eater, and i find that it gets worse in the summer seeing as we usually dont have much money to go anywhere. Do you know how i can stop eating when im not hungry and start when i am?
Well knowing the difference between eating out of boredom or emotion and actual hunger is important. Usually actual hunger is a gradual thing, and you can put it off. Whereas emotional or boredom eating seems to come out of nowhere and is super intense. Like you have to eat that second. Some things to do to keep from eating out of boredom is just doing something you enjoy. Watch a tv show you like, paint your nails, go on a walk. Do something to preoccupy yourself.

Anonymous asked: Honestly... If an overweight girl starves herself.. will she lose weight? I know it's not healthy ... but will it work ?
No no no a million times no. Honesty please do not starve yourself. Let me tell you why. First off, when you don’t give your body the correct amount of food, it goes into something called starvation mode. What happens is basically your body thinks its being starved, so it holds on to all the fat stores in your body- making it almost impossible to lose weight down the road. Also, physically your body will struggle. Not giving it the proper amount of food can lead to fatigue, mood swings, and tons of other problems inside your body. Your body is a temple, respect it. So short answer, no.

Anonymous asked: Hi :) I have a question. I know it’s supposed to be bad for you to eat under 1200 calories a day but I feel so guilty if I go over 900. Is it really that bad to not eat 1200?
You know, I use to be a really big calorie counter… And I realized that basically, it’s just fucking dumb. Listen to your body. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re not, don’t. But don’t feel guilty for eating, ever. Would you expect a car to run with no gas? No. So don’t expect your body to run on no fuel.

stuckinafishtank asked: How do you get motivated? I want to lose weight so badly but my appetite always gets the best of me, and I end up binging and never have enough motivation to finish my workout.
I think I just got so tired of being big and hating my body that I was willing to do anything to change it. As far as the hunger and binging, you shouldn’t let yourself get do hungry that you have to binge. When you’re hungry, eat! Only eat healthy food instead of trash. A common mistake is eating to little thinking that will speed the process up when in fact it slows down. Your body can go into starvation mode and hold on to all of your fat stores. And as far as the working out goes, it is tough. Sometimes putting together a fucking awesome workout playlist helps a ton. And when you feel like you want to skip the last few reps, remember what you’re working towards and push through it.

Anonymous asked: I've started running a mile everyday, doing P90x Ab ripper, eating healthy, plus a lot of toning/weight lifting for my arms. How soon do you think I'd see results?
Well it’s different for everyone depending on body type, starting weight, etc. but doing all that you should see results within a few weeks to a month. The more you have to lose, the faster it comes off. If you don’t have a lot to lose it’ll happen a bit slower. But don’t get discouraged and don’t expect over night results.

Anonymous asked: okay so i read that if you workout in a regular bra and not a sports bra then your boobs can sag. is this really true? I don't have any sports bras right now but i really need to workout cause i'm trying to reach my goal before school starts. but ever since i read that i'm kinda scared of my boobs sagging (i'm a 36C if that helps) and my mom said that i'm just using that as an excuse not to workout cause i'm lazy but i really don't wanna work out without a sports bra now. so is it true? thanks
Oh that’s most definitely incorrect… I think people workout in sports bras because they offer more support, while being insanely comfortable. But working out for a few hours in a regular bra won’t do any harm. don’t worry :) your boobs will be just fine.

Anonymous asked: Hi! First of all, I love your blog! Secondly, I am an average weight girl. However I am currently trying to trim off some body fat and get toned and fit. I've been lifting weights and doing other body building exercises. But the problem is that I can't lose the extra body fat. I already eat very healthily, and I try to exercise (granted I could do more). I was wondering if you had any suggestions of how to just lose that little bit so I can be toned and fit. Any help would be great! Keep blogin!
Thank you! well, according to my trainer the best way to burn fat is through cardio. it burns the most calories the fastest. so for the trimming off the last few pounds of body fat, i’d go for cardio. running, swimming, jumping rope, etc. and then for the toning up, once you have the fat off, just continue with the strength training.

Anonymous asked: I've been working out really hard the past week, and also eating healthy. Cut out everything bad, and added a lot of healthy replacements. I'm not sure my calorie intake is up to healthy speed yet, but Im adding more things. I've lost 3 lbs already though, is that dangerous? o.o
no 3 pounds in a week is definitely okay <3 just be careful, and make sure you are eating enough calories or it’ll catch up to you and make the rest of your journey much more difficult.

Anonymous asked: I know you're supposed to eat when after you workout, but it always makes me not hungry. Is that bad? Should I eat something anyways like an apple or something?
I’m not 100% sure.. but I heard that if you don’t eat at least 30 minutes after a workout that you lose 80% of it, or something like that. when you work out your muscles tear, and in order to rebuild them you have to eat. especially protein. Try just eating a little piece of chicken or some celery with peanut butter.

Anonymous asked: my mom is making spaghetti for dinner and I was wondering if it's okay to eat it? she's also making asparagus. I just don't know if it has a lot of calories and saturated fat or not
yeah spaghetti definitely isn’t the healthiest thing in the world… but a little bit is okay. just eat it in moderation. and asparagus is really good for you! (:
